My Approach
My Name is Lauren (she/her) and I am a Registered Provisional Psychologist working with youth (12+) and adults. My primary goal as a therapist is to create a warm, caring, secure working relationship for clients to feel safe, supported, and empowered to explore their emotional experiences. I love supporting clients in cultivating self-awareness and insight, and enhancing perspectives and tools for navigating life’s challenges. As a therapist, I listen sensitively, attentively, and compassionately. I offer counselling that is honest, sincere, and aligned with client values. Together we collaborate and work towards change that is personally meaningful to the client, and actionable within their immediate life context.

Coming from a career as a professional dancer and Pilates teacher, I take a holistic lens on therapy that appreciates the nuances of the client’s mind-body connection and prioritizes embodied living. While it is very important to me to meet people where they are at on that particular day, I also love bringing humour, hope, lightness, and creativity into the work that I do.
